Personalized Ceremonies Rooted in Joy, Meaning, and Connection

Your wedding day is more than an event—it’s a sacred moment, a public declaration of love, and the beginning of a shared journey.

As an officiant, I believe your ceremony should reflect the beauty of your story and the values that matter most to you.

I approach each wedding with warmth, attentiveness, and genuine joy. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, my goal is to help you create a ceremony that feels authentic, memorable, and deeply meaningful.

From our first conversation to the final “I do,” I’ll take time to listen—exploring your hopes, style, and any traditions you want to include. Together, we’ll shape a ceremony that honors your love and brings your vision to life.

If you’re looking for a thoughtful, professional, and grounded presence to guide your wedding ceremony, I’d be honored to support you in marking this moment with intention and celebration.

  • "Brian is a true professional from the beginning to end! I had no idea where to be began and was unsure on how the process worked and he was super patient and understanding. The ceremony went amazing. I got so many compliments on how lovely his speech was and how he included our family members who have passed. The way Brian spoke you would’ve thought he knew us for years. Truly amazing."

  • "Brian did our premarital counseling and officiated our wedding and he was phenomenal! He has an incredibly calming demeanor and is truly impartial in his counseling which created a safe space for us to open up. He was very thoughtful in his officiating as well and took the time to personalize the ceremony which made it feel extra special. We highly recommend Brian!"

  • "Brian’s wisdom, demeanor, and easy-going personality were the perfect blend as we prepared for this life changing season. He guided us as we worked through expectations, effective communication, and even spicy conversations around spousal roles and finances. My husband and I felt more ready for marriage after our 6 pre-marital sessions with him.  If you’re looking not only for a wedding officiant but also someone who will partner with you as you experience the dynamic, multi-dimensional aspects of marriage, I 10/10 recommend Brian Kim."

  • "My wife and I absolutely loved working with Brian. He did premarital counseling with us, and he was such a safe, wise place to walk through so much of our marriage preparation. Honestly, I don't know what we would have done without him! He was able to speak well to both of our (very different!) histories and help us navigate what it's like to bring out lives together. Can't say enough good things about him. Highly recommend!"

Providing your date is available, we will set up a free consultation to meet and discuss your upcoming wedding. A 50% deposit is required to secure your date. Once the deposit is received, I will start writing your ceremony all based around your love story.

  • My fee for a local wedding is $500, with a $250 deposit due upon booking. Destination wedding cost varies, I would love to talk more about this!

You can hire any officiant to walk you through a ceremony. When you hire me you are hiring someone who wants to help you create the ideal wedding. My goal is to support you and your guests to enjoy the celebration of your marriage to the fullest!

  • Yes, I do weddings in nearby counties as well. For weddings outside San Francisco a travel fee may apply (flexible based on distance).

  • Premarital counseling is a wonderful investment into your future together! Through guided conversations and exercises, you will be able to identify the most important elements to build a healthy marriage, before you both say, "I do." I do not require premarital counseling, but recommend it. I can conduct these sessions as well or refer you to other great professionals.

  • The ceremony will be long enough to be personal and purposeful but short enough to be clear and concise. A typical ceremony will last 30 minutes from start to finish. Of course, if we choose to include additional elements, the ceremony will be longer. This is your wedding, so we will craft it in a way that aims to meet all your desires!

  • I am happy to be present at or run the rehearsal, for an additional $200.  We can discuss this in detail on our initial call.

  • Yes. It is included in the cost.
